Laws
Essential laws:
- Members should attempt to remain in character at all times, except in
private when mutually agreed upon by all characters present.
- Members must never attempt to harm another member with malicious intent,
and should do their best to protect and defend other members in times of
need.
- Members should not harm other faerie species found in Sosaria, including
pixies, centaurs, wisps, tree-folk, and ethereal warriors, except in
self-defense or other urgent need.
- Members should be respectful of nature, and only hunt or harm animals in
accordance with natural law. The harming of animals in the tel'Ruid
area is strongly discouraged.
- Members must be respectful each other's personal property, and the shared
property of the guild.
- Resources used by the guild should be collected and stored at the tower
when possible; however, gathering or resources or donations are not required
except in situations of extreme need.
- Members should display their guild title.
Specifications of guild policy:
- All guild members are considered to be members of a faerie household, or deirbfhine.
Characters who share a player are considered to be of the same household,
regardless of actual family genealogy, as are any enchanted characters bound
to faeries in a household. Each household must designate a representative,
or a'es da'na, who will have voting responsibility for that
household. Faeries who are the only members of a household are
automatically designated the leader of their household, and are assumed to
represent their relatives in the faerieland of their origin.
- Storage space for guild members shall be provided at the tower as it is
available. First priority goes to the heads of households.
Secondary priority goes to enchanted members, or scla'bhai' and
finally to the members of a household, bo'aire. Home ownership
by the members shall also be considered.
- Voting on decisions shall be expected of all active household leaders.
- Any leader of a household may call for a decision to be put to vote.
- All decisions shall require a 2/3 majority of active votes members to
pass, except in the case of voting on enchantment, in which case a consensus
is required.
